Although everyone who has ever played a video game is excited for Grand Theft Auto VI, there is a group of people who dislike the game. Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate hate it.
It appears that Rockstar Games has created this for fans, who were disappointed when the company pushed the game back to next year.
Andrew and Tristan Tate’s Throwback Criticism Resurfaces
Former four-time kickboxing champion and controversial social media icon Andrew Tate consistently makes headlines with his provocative views.
In late 2023, when GTA 6 dropped its teaser, Andrew Tate and his brother openly denounced the game.
Andrew Tate, alongside his brother, hosts an online podcast on the streaming platform Rumble called “TateSpeech.”
The Tate brothers also discussed the trailer for the highly anticipated video game Grand Theft Auto 6.
Rockstar Games unveiled the trailer, which garnered over 90 million views in less than 24 hours in December 2023.
A fan online asked Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate to share their thoughts on the GTA 6 trailer, but Cobra Tate sidestepped the question, directing it to his brother, Tristan.
Tristan Tate shared that he had played Grand Theft Auto 1 when he was around eleven or twelve, reminiscing about games where you have to save a princess and defeat evil alongside his brother, referring to iconic games like Mario and Contra.
Tate later elaborated on his disdain for the Grand Theft Auto franchise, stating, “I’m not a fan of anyone under the age of 18, 21 maybe, playing video games where the goal is to shoot police officers.”

Twitter CEO and billionaire Elon Musk also responded to the much-anticipated trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6.
A Twitter X user by the username Dan expressed that he hasn’t played any GTA editions.
Elon Musk commented under Dan’s statement, sharing his view on why he does not like the Grand Theft Auto franchise: “Tried but didn’t like doing crime. GTA5 required shooting police officers in the opening scene. Just couldn’t do it.”
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released worldwide on May 26, 2026, exclusively for the next-gen consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S.
