Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE since being attacked by Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins at the RAW after WrestleMania 41.
As of May 2, 2025, multiple reports suggest the OTC is in discussion to return to WWE before SummerSlam 2025 in June, near Money in the Bank.
According to WOR, the Triple H-led creative team has been considering booking Punk and Reigns as a tag team.
The Undisputed Tribal Chief will seemingly compete at the first two-night SummerSlam premium live event.
WWE is heavily advertising Reigns for the PLE, as he recently appeared in the released 2025 SummerSlam promotion.
Why Roman Reigns should return at SummerSlam 2025?
This year will be the first-ever two-night SummerSlam, and reportedly, WWE is treating it as WrestleMania.
That said, the wrestling giant would undoubtedly need some massive names to craft a major card. Reigns is amongst top prospects WWE currently have, he sales major tickets and merchandise, boosting company’s profits.
This makes Roman Reigns’s return at SummerSlam 2025 important.
It will be interesting to see what plans the WWE creative team has in store for Roman Reigns once he is back on television.
